Thursday night while working in Brooklyn, myself and two guys I work with went to check out the Chipshop, (reviews) a restaurant I heard about on the Travel Channel. It was started by a guy that couldn’t find authentic fish and chips in NYC, so he opened his own shop. But, it’s also famous as a place that will fry anything. They have several options on the menu, like pizza, macaroni and cheese, etc. But if you bring something in, they will fry it for you. I went with the fish and chips though everything was tempting. After dinner, we headed over to the Brooklyn Heights Promenade. It’s an area along the river where you can look over and see lower Manhatten, the Brooklyn Bridge, and the Statue Of Liberty among other sights. It’s really cool to see it after dark with the lights on in Manhatten.
