Verona Beach Wilderness Area hike

On Thursday, I went with a couple people from SAOAC to check out the Verona Beach Wilderness Conservation Area, a portion of the Verona Beach State Park located “across the street” from the main park. First stop, check out the main trail map.

Most of the trails are simply roads cut through the woods

And if you see a sign saying Bridge Closed, it’s probably good to obey it

The sun even came out once in a while to brighten the sky
