Memory Walk 2008

Today we did the Memory Walk in Utica on behalf of Ruth’s mother Ethel Schaffer. Ruth won an award for most money raised by an individual, it was an Olympic style medal. She promptly gave it to her mom. 3 laps of the Masonic Community campus was just under 3 miles. I, along with Ruth’s friend Sharon, her husband Bob, and their dog Moose did all three laps. Everyone else in our group stopped after one or two since they only signed on for 2 miles, not knowing it was supposed to be three. Click on the image below to see all the photos from the event.
