Tinkers Falls Trail Maintance

On Sunday, I went and helped haul supplies up to Tinkers Falls for a trail construction project the Finger Lakes Trail Conference group was doing. It was a lot of work, even though they had a guy with an ATV and trailer bring everything up to us, we still had to haul it the last 1/4 mile. Here’s an article the Post Standard had about it….

The lower part of the trail is handicapped accesible, we were taking everything to the upper part of the falls. The DEC opened up a gate to allow access to the upper part of the falls for the ATV. We simply waited up top for each load, then walked to over to the staging area. It was still alot of work.
